The new WhatsApp blue ticks and how it works

The crowd-pleasing, messaging app WhatsApp is rolling out a read receipt feature that will let users know when their sent messages have been read. WhatsApp users will now notice two blue tick marks next to a message they've sent thanks to the new feature, it is actually an indication that the recipient has seen or read the message.

Android, iPhone, Windows  Phone will now see two blue tick marks that will serve as a ''read receipt''. Although i think this feature shouldn't be new and shouldn't be made a big deal, because i know of some messaging app which were launched with the same feature but different concept.

Earlier versions of WhatsApp showed a grey double tick mark which indicated the message has been delivered, many thought that was wack.
