Update on the Niger state College of Education suicide bombing


Figures reaching in suggests that at most 10 people were injured today after a female suicide bomber blew up herself at the Federal College of Education Kontagora in Niger state at around 12:30pm today November 12th.

A student of the school, Mary Okafor spoke with AFP, said that they were all at the library reading for their semester examinations when they heard a sudden thunderous sound, "We saw bodies on the ground between the library and the female hostel. Among the bodies were two dismembered women who we believe were the bombers. At least 10 students were killed and several others injured. They have all been moved to the general hospital. We all have been asked to vacate the school. The authorities in the town have asked all schools to close." she narrated.
