Mr. President on Wednesday officially revealed the new N100 commemorative notes at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The ceremony was formally set for last Wednesday but didn't hold due to the President's visit to Burkina Faso.
The Vice President Namadi Sambo joined Mr. President, alongside Central Bank of Nigeria's Governor, Godwin Emefiele in unveiling the new note during the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
The CBN Governor said the new notes was issued to commemorate the 100 years of the nation's amalgamation.
