Opera Mini mobile browser has reached a staggering 50 million user milestone in India. The company claims that it is now the ''third largest mobile app used in India after Facebook and WhatsApp.'' India now has the largest user base of Opera Mini users in the world according to Opera's statistics.
Opera in a press statement said, ''In India, the number of Opera's smatphone users grew by 110 percent over the past year and now account for 50 percent of Opera's total user base. These users are spread across Opera's portfolio of browsers, including Opera Mini and Opera's high-end smartphone browsers - Opera Coast for iOS devices and Opera for Android.''
